VT Bird Tours offers affordable guided birding adventures to a variety of birding hot spots in the US! Vermont Bird Tours is the work of Bryan Pfeiffer, an author, photographer, naturalist and conservationist who has been guiding for nearly three decades.

Our simple goal is to help you discover the color, song and flight found only in the lives of birds. Our groups are small, friendly and easygoing. And we do everything possible to make your outing educational and enjoyable.

Vermont Bird Tours founder, Bryan Pfeiffer, is an author, nature photographer and conservationist. He has been chasing, enjoying and guiding folks to birds for nearly 30 years. Bryan co-hosts the award-winning radio show "For the Birds" each Saturday morning on WDEV AM and FM. And he is the host of the Vermont Public Television special Birding in Vermont.

Bryan is co-author of Birdwatching in Vermont, a guide to finding and enjoying the state's birdlife. His essays and articles have appeared in The New York Times, Vermont Life, Field & Stream, and Northern Woodlands, among others. When he's not chasing birds, Bryan is chief field staff for the Vermont Butterfly Survey (which means he chases butterflies). He is also an authority on the dragonflies of Vermont. Bryan lives on Bartlett Hill in Plainfield, where he wanders the landscape enjoying everything from ferns to frogs, orchids to otters.
